Ella turned two years old on December 29, 2008. It was a Monday and we decided to treat her to a special day in San Francisco. We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and then walked through Fisherman's Wharf towards Ghirardelli Square, browsing through some of the shops along the way.
Then we made our way to Daly City to meet RJ's cousins for dinner. We ate some yummy "silogs," pancit and halo-halo at House of Sisig. Ella got to choose from three cupcakes that we bought from Kara's Cupcakes AND the restaurant gave her two big scoops of ube ice cream. Oh, did we mention that she actually ate some chicharon bulaklak (pork omentum/ruffles)?
Before going to bed, Ella opened her birthday presents, one from us (a Maclaren doll stroller) and a Cranium Mega Mask from her Ninang Veronica.
It was a tiring day but absolutely worth it to see our little girl enjoy every minute of it. :)
