Yes, tears were shed and cringe-worthy screams were heard (possibly across the Bay), but my brave girl survived the shots (two of them) and a blood draw. Next step is a physical on Thursday. Hoping it all goes well and her pediatrician checks off the "good to go to Kindergarten" box. Good job, Lex! Mommy's proud of you.
