Oak Classroom Summary, Aug/Sept

I become increasingly impressed with Ella's school and how it consistently fosters communication with the parents. Here's another example: the first edition of what appears to be their classroom newsletter. Basically, it's a summary of what they did the first couple months of the year.

So far, they've studied the continent of Africa, they've explored their garden (learning about plants and flowers), the 3rd graders have led the 1st and 2nd graders as they conducted experiments and demonstrations that explained a scientific interpretation of how the universe began, and they've learned the responsibility and importance of having a job.
