Alexa didn't want to go home after we dropped off Ella at school around 8:00am. So, after a quick stop at Starbucks for my grande caramel macchiato, we headed toward her preschool. Her school's location is quite ideal with the Alameda Creek trail right behind it. We took a leisurely stroll, chatted with other folks who were walking their dogs, and listening to the avian cacophony around us. Lex is such a joy to "hang out with" these days... displaying such curiosity and wit, I can't but be amazed & entertained by her. I'm determined to savor these precious moments with her.
