Lex did awesome... So awesome, in fact, that her teacher (Miss Darlene) was duly impressed that she was able to stretch her leg high enough to rest her foot on the bar. Why? Because the bar was higher than the top of her head. She even asked Lex to show the big girls (aka, teenaged ballet dancers), but she became really shy. We left the studio amidst loud murmurs of "Aw, she's so cute!" :)
