Playdate at Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos, CA

We had a fun day today with Cheryl Romero and her daughters Rachel and Isabella. We decided to have our playdate at the Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos. I was a bit hesitant when we left the house because of the gray and cloudy sky. But as I drove closer to Los Gatos, the sky seemed to clear. By the time we reached the park, the sun was shining its warm rays down on us.

Oak Meadow Park was fun! There's a $5 parking fee, but they give you a ticket for in and out privileges. The playground is right by the parking lot, but it's fenced in. There are 2 separate play structures, a stationary train, a stationary fire truck, and an airplane.

Next to the playground, is a huge field. We laid out the blankets for a picnic.

Then, just beyond the field is the historic carousel. The girls enjoyed the ride, which costs $2 per rider (children 2 years and under ride free with a paying adult).

Another 15 minutes was spent in the playground before we called it a day.
